Today you will be introduced to the course and given the opportunity to see the expectations for graduate level writing and the connections between rhetoric and writing pedagogy.

Discussion II: Rhetoric & Pedagogy

We will discuss some of the connections that you have made between rhetoric and writing in your freewrite. Then we will review a clif notes version of the rhetorical canon. As we go through these terms we will discuss how we see them being applied in the composition classroom.
