Dear U. R. Owner

It has recently come to my attention that Peace and Prosperity Party (PPParty.com) is distributing music from my
last few albums––in the form of downloadable MP3 files–– free of charge. Although I support PPParty.com's
philosophy of supporting and helping global causes, I believe that they are doing artists, such as myself, a grave
disservice by giving the fruits of our hard labor away for free.

World Music Artists, such as myself, struggle to be discovered by record labels that will help us support our art. Even
when we are recognized by record companies, we are still on the margins of the mainstream music scene. Compared to
the mainstream artists we make a very humble living––a living that we need to support our ability to create art and to
share our culture with the world. When internet services, such as yours allow our music to be given away without
compensation, you are making a bad situation worse.

As I am deciding on a course of action, I have been paying close attention to the recent court cases involving MP3.com
and Napster.com. The final outcome of these cases may decide whether I pursue legal action against your company.
However, any litigation can be avoided if you were to remove my music from your playlist. I hope we can work together
to acheive a reasonable conclusion.

I look foward to hearing your response. Please send me a letter in care of my agent, Giveme A. Name, at YouChoose
Records.

Sincerely,

I.M. Nameless
