Dear Student:
Fall
Semester is quickly approaching. To help make your financial aid disbursement
process go smoothly, we
want to inform you of the two following options:
1. We can deposit excess fund electronically to your bank account and mail the Advice Form to you.
OR
2. We can mail your check and Advise Form to your LOCAL address.
We
recommend the option of having your funds deposited electronically to
your account. It is quick
and easy and you won't have to worry about lost checks in the mail! There
is no charge for this service.
Enclosed
is the authorization form to participate in the direct deposit of your
funds (the Boilermaker Direct
Deposit Plan). Please note additional information on the back of the form.
For your convenience we have also
enclosed a pre-stamped envelope. This authorization will be in effect
until you cancel or change it. You can
even deposit funds into an account not in your name, such as your parents;
you just need to authorize the
deposit.
To participate in the Boilermaker Direct Deposit Plan:
1. Complete
the authorization agreement if you have not already done so.
2. Attach a voided check to the white copy. (Only one staple, no scotch
tape please).
3. Mail the white copy back to us in the enclosed return envelope as soon
as possible.
4. Keep the pink copy for your records.
Regardless of the option that you choose, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to have correct address information in the Office of the Registrar's system. We will be mailing Advice Forms and checks to your LOCAL address the week prior to classes, so please make sure your local address is updated by that time. Incorrect addresses will result in unnecessary delays.
