Peer Review: ePoster

Purpose

In today's class you have an opportunity to share the work that you have done this semester with your classmates and, likewise, to see what they have done.

Activity I: Creating an ePoster

Using PowerPoint or Prezi, create 5-10 slides for the first 45 minutes that explain…

  • the topic of your project this semester
  • the question you were trying to answer
  • how you did your primary research
  • what you learned from doing all of your research
  • what were some of the decisions you made and how did they work out
  • what you are doing for your remix
  • how your remix addresses a specific audience and purpose
  • anything else that you think is relevant

Where it is relevant, you may want to take screenshots of your Remix or add in passages from your IMRAD Essay to illustrate specific examples of what you produced.

Activity II: ePoster Session

At the beginning of class you will set up your slide show on a computer and let it run by itself on repeat. Then you will walk around the room looking at your peers' work. If your peer is standing next to her/his work, engage them in a discussion about what s/he has learned.
