PHYS 111N.  Introductory General Physics I.
Lecture 3 hours; laboratory 2 hours; 4 credits each semester.  Prerequisite:  MATH 102M or 162M or MATH 166.

111N emphasizes mechanics,  wave motion and heat and will also cover the needed elements of trigonometry and vectors.
