Practicum
PK-3 Students: If you are enrolled or planning to enroll in ESSE688 (Practicum) separately, your entire grade for ESSE679 will be based upon the assignments completed for this class. Your total number of possible points will be 600.
If you are taking practicum as a part of this course (not enrolled or planning to enroll in ESSE688) your final grade will be based upon both the assignments and evaluations from the practicum portion of the class. The course assignments will represent 2/3 of your final grade and the practicum portion will represent 1/3rd of your final course grade for ESSE679.
Practicum portion of ESSE 679 is calculated in the following manner:
- Journals - 150 points
- Teacher evaluations - 50 points
- Written work - 25 points
- Total - 225 points
Summary
- ESSE 679 classwork - 600 points (2/3 of grade)
- ESSE Practicum - 225 points (1/3 of grade)
- TOTAL - 825 points (100%)
