Dr Henry joined the CBPA Department of Accounting in 1993 and is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Governmental Financial Manager. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Henry worked for over eleven years for the State of Maryland Income Tax Division as a corporate tax auditor, and as a revenue administrator supervising the receipts reporting area. Prior to working for the State, she was employed as a financial accountant for two years with a large corporation in the printing industry.

Professor Henry received her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Mississippi in 1993, a Masters of Public Accountancy from Loyola College in Baltimore in 1996, and her Bachelors of Environmental Design from North Carolina State University in 1975.
