Purpose

Today you will be introduced to the course and given the opportunity to see the expectations for graduate level writing and the connections between rhetoric and writing pedagogy.

Presentation: Writing at the Graduate Level

I will present a slide show detailing what the expectations are for graduate level writing and how to achieve those expectations.

We will review a clif notes version of some major rhetorical terms. As we go through these terms we will discuss how we see them being applied in the composition classroom.
