The Gifberg Quillworts
During field work on the Gifberg, an isolated mountain in Namaqualand near the town of Vanrhynsdorp, South Africa, we located three distinct quillworts, previously unknown in this region according to J. E. Burrows (Southern Africa Ferns and Fern Allies. 1990. Sandton: Frandsen Publishers) and possibly all new to science. See paper by Musselman and Roux.
