Checklist of Plants of Lebanon and Syria

Checklist of the plants of Lebanon and Syria is based on a list prepared by Paul Mouterde (date unknown) of all species from Lebanon and Syria contained in the Post Herbarium at the American University of Beirut. This is a large PDF file. Families are arranged according to Post's flora. I found Mouterde's typewritten list in the Post Herbarium. It includes virtually all the plants included in both Mouterde's and Post's floras. I conflated it with new records in the recent book by Thomé and Thomé, A Thousand and One Flowers of Lebanon (Lebanese University, 2002). Bear in mind that this is a work in progress! Please bring any errors or additions to my attention. Thanks to LaShawn Johnson for typing the list.
