Research Paper 

Each student is required to submit a research paper for the seminar.  There are three components of this requirement:

First, students will prepare a research design as preparation for writing the research paper.  The research design will be presented in class on February 16.  Structure:  10-15 minutes followed by Q&A.  The research design should run approximately 3 pages and include the following: 1) Introduction, 2) Literature review, and 3) Methodology section.  The research design is due on February 16.

Second, each student will present the findings of his / her research paper during the latter part of the semester (see Schedule).  This will entail a 15-20 minute presentation followed by Q&A.  The research paper presentations are scheduled for March 29, April 5, and April 12.

Third, students will submit the research paper in class on April 19.  The paper should run 15-20 pages for IS 795 students and 20-25 pages for IS 895 students.

Note:  Late assignments will be reduced three (3) points per day beginning the day they are due.
