GAME EVALUATION CRITERIA

Games are evaluated with the following criteria:

  • Field testing was used to improve game (0-2 pts)
  • Game is clever and imaginative (0-1 pt) *sparkle points*
  • Game addresses an under-used SOL (0-1 pt)
  • Math game requires player to find problem (0-1 pt)
  • Math game allows player to figure out answer (0-1 pt)
  • Variations add to usefulness of game (0-1 pt)
  • Handout is detailed enough to recreate game (0-1 pt)
  • Web sources and computer programs identified (0-1 pt)
  • Handout is neat and properly formatted (0-1 pt)
  • Game is complete and on time (0-1 pt)
